Our Information and Referral Service assists people every year to connect to community resources. We are the information source for people looking for services and information about any developmental or cognitive disability. Our Information and Referral services are unique, as we are the only Information and Referral Source in Southwestern Ohio that encompasse the whole life span with information ranging from pre-birth through adulthood. Whatever type of information you are looking for, we can help you find it and refer you to the appropriate agency.
One of the important pieces of information we offer is about planning for the future. Planning for the future can seem overwhelming for parents of a child with a disability. When you are dealing with day to day issues, it's difficult to have time to even think about the future. Fears about what will happen to your child after you die can keep you from doing the very thing that will give you that peace of mind;Planning. Information on Estate and Future Planning, Guardianship and setting up a Covenant of Support are provided through printed materials and workshops.
